LA ROCCA DI NOGAROLE

CONCEPT

The project has three purposes:

1) To give a new contemporary reading of the historical tracks of the Parco della Rocca (Rocca Park)

2) To create a daily meeting area for the local community

3) To provide the architectural heritage with new purposes in harmony with the original historical vocation of each building intended for hospitality and commercial use.

The idea is to return the central function of the natural system (water lines and vegetation) and of the anthropomorphic system (urban structure, local roads and motorways) to the Castle and the park, meaning restoring a character to every single Nogarolese detail, mending a lost socialisation and reviving a fundamental place in the rural and historical memory.
